The Vital Functions is a visual interpretation of our species, not so much portraying it anatomically as presenting it above all as a spiritual whole. The works offer a space to pause and reflect, to consider who we are. What does it mean to be human, Homo sapiens, an individual who is part of a greater whole and of the swiftly passing flow of life?

The series has been presented in a solo exhibition in May 2025 at Galleria Rossocinabro in Rome, Italy.
